I love this time of the year when we celebrate female glass artists from around the world with our annual Women in Glass issue. Our 2010 issue is filled with beautiful and innovative art that is featured in a gallery that includes over 150 of our Ladies in Glass. When we also consider the tutorials for some truly gorgeous projects, a reminder from the folks at The Corning Museum of Glass that female artists have filled an important place in the glass arts through the centuries, and tips from Lisa St. Martin for finding inspiration in out-of-the-way places, I believe we have a fabulous issue that you are sure to enjoy.
This is also a time when we pause to recall the important events that we have shared together over the past year and to realize how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and sharing community of glass artists. Wil and I want to take this opportunity to offer a huge thank-you to all of those who have supported The Flow and to let you know how much we treasure our relationships with each and every one of you. Our goal is to provide a special place where we can share our tips and techniques with one another and where we can demonstrate how magical the world of glass art really is.
As always . . . Keep your light shining and your torches lit!
