Artist Profile - Takehisa Okumura
The Summer 2009 Glasscraft Emerging Artist Award segment of The Flow features: Jennifer Umphress, who captures the movement of sea life in a simple, contemporary form; Wesley Fleming, who re-creates examples of the animal world, especially insects and birds; and Takehisa Okumura, who works mostly in the creation of skulls.
