Winter 2007 - editorial deadline September 20, 2007 - theme 3rd Annual Women in Glass Issue
This special issue of The Flow is dedicated to talented ladies who work with glass. This issue features our most extensive gallery section of the year showcasing the beautiful artwork of many ladies from around the world. Even the general interest stories, Glasscraft Emerging Artist Awards, health, safety or technical articles, as well as tutorials are all by Women of Glass. All skill level (beginner, intermediate and advanced) submissions are accepted. Any type of glass project or artwork by women are accepted (beads, sculpture, marbles, paperweights, vessels, mixed media, ect.).
Spring 2008 - editorial deadline December 20, 2007 - theme Canadian Issue
Our second international issue will feature the work of Canadian glass artists this year. This issue will feature general interest stories, a gallery section, Glasscraft Emerging Artist Awards, health, safety or technical articles, as well as tutorials all by talented Canadian artists. All skill level (beginner, intermediate and advanced) submissions are accepted. Any type of glass project or artwork by a Canadian artist is accepted (beads, sculpture, marbles, paperweights, vessels mixed media, ect.).
Summer 2008 - editorial deadline March 20, 2008 - theme Marbles and Sculptural Issue
This special issue of The Flow is dedicated to marbles and sculptural artwork. This issue will feature general interest stories, a gallery section, Glasscraft Emerging Artist Awards, health, safety or technical articles, as well as tutorials all by talented marble and sculptural artists. All skill level (beginner, intermediate and advanced) submissions are accepted. Any type of glass marble or suclptural project or artwork is accepted (sculptural beads, hollow or solid sculptures, marbles).
Fall 2008 - editorial deadline June 20, 2008 - theme Educational & Gift Item Issue
This special issue of The Flow is dedicated to promoting glass education. We will feature profiles on glass teaching facilities. For details on submitting your teaching facility's profile, please email editor@thflowmagazine. Only a limited number of profiles will be printed and the length of each is limited. Please contact us for specific details and availability. Our Glasscraft Emerging Artist Awards and tutorials will feature gift items (anything fall or winter related, artwork that can be given as a gift, or is seasonal) made by glass instructor seeking to promote their upcoming classes. Health, safety or technical articles by glass instructors are accepted as well.

Is the artwork or project you would like to submit fitting for a particular season or time of year?If so, please keep in mind that we plan our issues up to a year in advance. All types of submissions are accepted year-round for all issues and are scheduled as space permits. Consideration of your submission for publication in The Flow is as much a matter of editorial and seasonal circumstance as the quality of your artwork and digital photographs. Please review the deadlines and upcoming themed issue information for submissions above. Often our issue is filled before our editorial deadline date. If you plan to submit an article, please refer to past issues for guidance in selecting subject matter, writing style, editorial and photography quality. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the content, style and tone of our previous issues before beginning your submission.
The Flow only publishes original work. We cannot publish a design that you saw on the Internet, learned in a class, or copied from an existing piece. Also, please do not submit work that has already been published or is currently under consideration at another magazine or publisher. The Flow reserves the right to edit your material for grammar, length and clarity to fit the requirements or format of the magazine.
Upon receipt of your submission, The Flow will contact you to confirm reciept, discuss when your artwork is likely to be published, and other details. We look forward to reviewing your submission
