Artist's Bio

The appreciation and creation of art lies in its infinite diversity and power to evoke emotions. To find oneís niche, one must not only look outward at what is being created but also look inward to find that one thing ñ that inspiration ñ that makes each creation unique.

My collections include pieces of what I like to refer to as ìwearable artî- ethereal pieces that stir the soul and let the imagination wander. My Nefertiti collection is inspired by the Egyptian Goddess who was not only beautiful, but also powerful and intoxicating. My hope is that by wearing these beads, a woman will feel an air of confidence, while radiating beauty and elegance. My love of flowers is incorporated into my designs whenever possible and I love to combine the beauty and complexity of Mother Natureís design with a splash of fantasy through the use of delicate crystals.

When I sit down to create my beads, I lose myself in a world that is uniquely my own. Creating in glass allows me to express the inner beauty I feel with each piece I create. Watching the bead ìcome to lifeî as I create it is extraordinary. Each element has its place, and the satisfaction lies in witnessing its birth. Though I have not had any extensive, formal training, much of what I have created is as a result of trial and error and therein lies the challenge. It is where I find my imagination testing my limits and abilities.

There can be no greater pleasure or reward for me as an artist, than knowing that I have given someone the gift of everlasting beauty.
