Artist's Bio

I have been making glass beads for about 2 1/2 years and get most of my recent inspiration from Brad Pearson. I find glass working to be very relaxing and yet, at the same time, energizing. I am a member of Wet Canvas, ISGB and Boston Chapter (I live my summers in Maine), the new northern New England bead making group, and in Arizona, the ASGB. I have shown and sell my work at Caravan Beads in Portland, ME, The Prout's Neck (ME) Art Show, the Best Bead Show in Tucson (as a member of ASGB), and Sheepscot River Pottery in Maine. I have taught at the Bead Museum in Glendale, AZ. for two years. I teach beading techniques, not glass bead making. One of my beads is in Corina's Spotlight on Magic Color Reactions. I also participate in the Beads of Courage program by making and donating Purple Hearts
