Born in Kingston Upon Thames, England in 1982. Originally coming from a background in stained glass, formal training in a wide range of both hot and cold glass techniques now means that her work bridges many of the varying disciplines. She abandoned the functional route to utilise the properties of the material in an expressive way, exploring various themes of modern identity. Her work sometimes incorporates iconographic or instantly recognisable images from everyday life with the view to bring both humour and viewer association into the work.
