Born and raised on the East Coast although now living in Colorado. Philadelphia, Pa., a city with a long history of support for the ARTS probably influenced my relationship with the various forms of Art beginning as early as pre-school. As far back as I can remember I have been engaged in many artistic endeavors, which have included sketching with pencil, charcoal and pastels, painting with both oil colors and water colors. I followed these early pursuits with turning to 3 dimensional art, such as Silversmithing and finally reaching my final destination of working with glass. I must say that what attracts me to this medium is itís total fluidity, not only in forming and shaping, but also the ever changing play of colors when placing layer upon layer, therefore adding depth and dimension in addition to including the wonderful effects created by light streaming through the piece.

I am engaged in creating Wearable Art with the emphasis on ìwearableî. I believe that any piece of jewelry should enhance the wearer. I do no political statements, no convoluted pieces that overpower, poke, stab or otherwise impinge on the comfort zone of the owner. I simply try to produce pieces with breathtaking colors that make people smile.

The attached artwork includes pendants that are approximately 1.25 inches by 2.25 inches as well as 18-inch necklaces.
