Artist's Bio

Originally from south central Pennsylvania, Amber moved to Maryland in 2000 to attend Salisbury University. In 2004 she was the first woman to graduate Salisbury University with a BFA concentration in Hot Glass. She now lives in New York City and is a technician and glassblowing teacher at One Sixty Glass in Brooklyn. She primarily uses soft glass cane pulled from the furnace at her studio. Her flamework concentrates on jewelry but is also incorporated into her studio blown glass. She is seen here working at Tecnolux in Brooklyn, New York.
