After working in the advertising design field for four years as an illustrator and graphic designer I took a trip to Baja kayaking for a month. After realigning my outlook on life I came back and quit my corporate job and started teaching kayaking. Seems corporate and art didn't agree in my world. I've been a professional watersport instructor for the last eleven years and owned my own business Watertrail Adventures for the past five.

I have done glass art since 1989 at the Columbus College of Art and Design. I also took two semesters at UW Madison. Now I work primarily in flame working (blowing glass with a table top torch) and Pate de Verre which is a type of glass casting in a kiln. I apprentice Audrey Handler in off-hand glassblowing at her studio in Verona. Audrey is one of the more famous women glass blowers in the country

When I'm not working I spend time kayaking, sailing and rowing. I also work as an Instructor Trainer Educator in Coastal Kayaking with the American Canoe Association.
